Kansas Speedway Hotels

The Kansas Speedway is a 1 ½ mile racetrack located in Kansas City, KS, only 15 miles west of downtown. The facility currently holds over 81,000 spectators, but after the final expansion phase is completed, the Kansas Speedway will be able to hold more than 15,000 NASCAR fans. The Kansas Speedway opened in 2001, a year that welcomed the likes of the Indy Racing League, NASCAR Busch Series, and the NASCAR Winston Cup Series. NASCAR greats like Jeff Gordon, Frank Kimmel, and Joe Nemechek have all hit top speeds on the racetrack, which features 15-degree turns and 5-degree banking in the back stretch.
